The platform offers structured coding courses (C, C++, Python, Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, Power BI, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science), complete university curriculum notes for BCA/MCA students with previous year question papers, Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE/HBSE school notes, and dedicated preparation material for SSC, UPSC, Banking, Railway and other government exams. Browsing the site is completely free and requires no account. Users may optionally sign in with Google solely to save their learning progress, quiz scores and personal preferences across devices.

Project Tiger (1973)

  • Goal: To save the Royal Bengal Tiger from extinction.
  • Launch: Jim Corbett National Park.
  • Outcome: Tiger population increased from ~1,200 to ~3,600 (2022). A massive success.

Silent Valley Movement (1970s)

  • Issue: A dam was proposed on the Kunthipuzha river in Kerala's Silent Valley (Tropical Rainforest).
  • Protest: led by Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad (KSSP). It argued that the dam would destroy the habitat of the endemic Lion-Tailed Macaque.
  • Outcome: The project was scrapped. Silent Valley became a National Park in 1984.

The Bishnoi Movement (1730s)

  • History: Amrita Devi Bishnoi and 363 others sacrificed their lives hugging Khejri trees to protect them from the King's soldiers.
  • Legacy: The first major environmental movement in Indian history. Inspired Chipko.

Chipko Movement (1973)

  • Leader: Sunderlal Bahuguna, Gaura Devi.
  • Action: Women hugged trees in Uttarakhand to prevent logging. "Ecology is permanent economy."
