Biological Disasters

These involve the spread of disease-causing agents affecting humans, animals, or plants.

1. Epidemics

  • Definition: Rapid spread of infectious disease to a large number of people.
  • Examples: COVID-19, Ebola, Cholera, Dengue.
  • Causes: Poor sanitation, viruses/bacteria, lack of vaccination.

2. Pest Attacks

3. Forest Fire (Wildfires)
